
Registration and Fees
All guests must report to the office to register and pay grounds and camping fees. First time visitors must fill out our "Guest Registration and Liability Waiver". All guests must have a valid Visa or MasterCard for use as a deposit on a Gate-Key card. Members are expected to register by Key-Card each visit so we will know who is on the grounds.
All admissions and memberships are provisional and subject to cancellation for cause at the sole discretion of the management.
Married people are expected to attend with their spouse unless both are regular visitors and both confirm to management a compelling reason for single attendance.
Persons paying overnight fees must leave the grounds by 10:00 AM the following day or pay the next days ground fees.
Club members may bring a non-nudist guest (no single males) for their first visit (1-day) at no charge.
Daily grounds fee cover the hours from 10:00AM until 7:00PM. All non-member day visitors must be off the grounds by 7:00PM. Failure to observe this rule could result in loss of future privileges to use the park.
Behavior
Above all else, treat your fellow visitor with respect. Act and speak in a manner for which an apology will never be needed.
Friendliness is the norm at a nudist club, however members are entitle to their privacy. Do not press people for personal information. First names only are the norm at a nudist facility. If your new friends wish to share personal information, they will do so at their discretion.
This is a nudist club. It is not a clothing optional club. The comfort enjoyed by all is derived from the freedom and acceptance the nudist lifestyle represents. Everyone benefits from the practice of social nudity and everyone is expected to participate whenever conditions warrant. Visitors attending the Club for the first time, may visit as clothing optional guest for the orientation period only. After the orientation period they must be nude to remain on the grounds.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted on the grounds. Obvious intoxication is strictly PROHIBITED and is grounds for expulsion from the park. (No fees will be refunded.)
The use of any ILLEGAL DRUG is strictly FORBIDDEN. Any infraction of this rule will result in removal from the grounds and termination of membership. (No fees will be refunded.)
Overt sexual behavior, or the appearance of overt sexual behavior, is unacceptable. If anyone's behavior offends you, please report it to management immediately. This is grounds for expulsion from the park. (No fees will be refunded.)
Jewelry or other body decorations, which imply a sexual connotation, are prohibited.
Quite time will be observed from 11:00PM until 8:00AM. Failure to observe this quite period will result in expulsion from the grounds and may result in loss of future use of the park.
Hygiene
It is proper etiquette to carry and sit on towels in public areas. Towels must be used to sit on when using seating other than your own.
A soap shower is required before entering any pool or spa in the park.
Trash and garbage are to be deposited in the containers provided. Please do not leave any pop or beer cans or bottles or trash on the grounds. Campers are asked to place their trash in plastic bags and to deposit it in the containers provided. Pop and beer cans should be separated from the trash and placed in the containers provided.
Please deposit cigarette butts in appropriate containers and return containers to the designated area after using them. Please use butt cans outdoors and do not take clubhouse ashtrays outside or into the pool area.
Restricted Areas
The residences on this facility are private and should be visited by invitation only.
The maintenance facilities (equipment and shop building) are restricted to authorized personnel only.
While the Bar -S- Ranch encompasses some 400 acres, most of this is used as a buffer area. You are welcome to roam the woods and fields as long as you observe the "BARE LIMITS" signs. Persons roaming beyond the bare limits may be subject to having their membership revoked.
Membership
The Bar -S- Ranch is a private club and as such requires membership. Visitors from other AANR, INF, and Naturists clubs are always welcome. The Bar -S- Ranch does however claim an operating area of a 125 mile radius. People living within this operating area are expected to support the clubs in this area. If you are not a member of a club within the area you will be encouraged to join if you plan to use the Bar -S- Ranch more than twice per year.
Potential members are encouraged to visit at least two (2) times. After the second visit, an application for membership accompanied by a check for the appropriate amount for the desired type of membership will be considered. Membership is subject to the approval of the Management and Membership Committee.
Membership may be extended to persons of all races, nationalities and religious beliefs. We do however wish to retain a sexual balance in our adult population on the grounds at any given time. To achieve this, the Bar -S- Ranch reserves the right to refuse admission to any single member or guest at any time that the population on the grounds equals or exceeds 25% imbalance (ie, a 5 to 4 ratio).
Children
The Bar -S- Ranch is a family oriented facility and children are welcome. The conduct of all children under the legal age is ultimately the responsibility of their parents or guardians and those parents or guardians will be held accountable for any misconduct and/or damages by their children.
We are not a baby sitting service! All children aged 12 and under must be supervised by an adult or teenager 16 or older.
Children 12 and under are not allowed in the pool without an accompanying adult.
Children 12 and under are not allowed to use the pool table. Children aged 13 to 16 may used the pool table only if supervised by an adult (preferably their parent).
Children need their rest and so do adults. Children staying overnight must be in their campsites by 10:00PM. The only exception is to use the toilet facilities.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is not attended by a life guard, therefore you swim at your own risk.
No one should enter the swimming pool alone. The buddy system is a nationally recognized swimming safety procedure. There should always be a minimum of two adults in the pool area while the pool is in use. Be alert and keep an eye on your neighbor.
No Glass or Metal Objects are allowed in the pool. No Glass Objects are allowed in the pool area (enclosure).
No running or horseplay is allowed in the pool area.
NO DIVING is allowed!
Hot Tub
The hot tub is reserved for the use of adults only after 6:00PM. Children 18 and under are not allowed after this time.
Care should be taken when using the hot tub. Under some conditions the high temperature can have adverse medical affects, especially when consuming alcoholic beverages.
Rowdy or boisterous behavior will not be tolerated in the hot tub area.
No more that ten (10) persons may occupy the hot tub at one time.
Children 14 and under are not allowed in the hot tub.
Lake Area
Swimming is permitted in the lake, at YOUR OWN RISK. Swimming alone is not permitted, buddy system only.
Boats at provided for use by our guests. Only persons capable of swimming from the middle of the lake should use the boats. The boats should never be used alone and an adult must accompany children. The boats provided have captive air chambers and should not sink. In the event of capsizing, stay with the boat to stay afloat. Paddles and life preservers may be checked out at the clubhouse.
Fishing
Fishing is a favorite pastime of a lot of our guests. The lake is well stocked with Brim, Shellcracker, Crappie and Bass. Almost all pan fish are "keepers", however, wildlife laws require that all Bass under 14 inches in length be thrown back.
We allow all artificial baits and most live baits. We do not allow MINNOWS.
Please exercise care when casting. There is a lot of bare flesh to be snagged - your neighbors and your own!
Parking
All passenger vehicles should be parked in the designated parking areas only. Members and guests who are staying over night may drive their vehicles to their campsite or cabin to load or unload only. After loading/unloading the vehicles must be returned to the parking lot.
Those persons using recreation vehicles for overnight stays should receive parking instructions at the office.
No parking on or alongside the roads near the clubhouse and volleyball courts.
Golf carts are to be operated by licensed drivers only.
The management requires the full compliance of members and guests with the rules. Any infringement of rules should be reported to the management by members or guests.
